- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 220g all-purpose flour

- 1/4 to taste flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

- Carefully pour the browned butter into a mixing bowl and cool for about 10 minutes.
- Whisk in brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and kosher salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in most of the chopped chocolate.
- Lightly wipe or grease the skillet if necessary, then press the dough evenly into it.
- Scatter the remaining chocolate over the top.
- Bake for 20–24 minutes, until the edges are golden and set while the center remains slightly soft.
- Cool in the skillet for at least 10 minutes.
- Finish with flaky sea salt if desired and serve warm.
