📊 Easy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic cloves, finely grated
- 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F / 204°C if recommended by your unit.
- Pat chicken pieces dry. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd — cook in batches if needed so air can circulate.
- Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until chicken is browned and reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F.
- While chicken cooks, mix melted butter, grated garlic, Parmesan, and parsley in a large bowl.
- Transfer hot chicken immediately to the butter mixture and toss to coat. Serve right away while crisp.
Chef's Notes
Chef's Notes: Air fryer models vary in wattage and airflow — begin checking near the 8-minute mark. For maximum crispness, do not overlap pieces. The garlic butter toss should happen while chicken is hot from the basket so the Parmesan melts slightly into the coating.
