📊 Easy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lime juice
- as needed oil spray
Instructions
- Set up three dishes: seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and panko with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken pieces in flour, dip in egg, then coat in panko. Press gently so crumbs adhere.
- Lightly spray with oil spray. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket — cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry at 400°F / 204°C for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crisp. Chicken should reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F.
- While chicken cooks, whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a large bowl.
- TOSS ONLY AFTER COOKING — transfer hot chicken to the sauce and toss to coat. For maximum crispness, serve sauce on the side and dip as you eat.
Chef's Notes
Chef's Notes: The sauce goes on AFTER cooking — tossing before will make the coating soggy. For maximum crunch, serve the bang bang sauce on the side for dipping. Contains: Egg, Wheat, Soy.
